Pretoria has so many beautiful gems hidden away everywhere. On Saturday we had the pleasure to explore one of them. The Old Government building is a lovely old building at the Pretoria Zoo where the Nomadic Impac series is being hosted. I posted about the event about two weeks ago and on Saturday, 5 September it is time for the second installment of the event. As I mentioned these events are being held as a fundraiser for the Impac Film Festival happening in September. More about that later.
Before the screening we decided to have a look inside the abandoned building. It was an interesting, eerie and weirdly depressing expedition. Old employee files are strewn across the rooms, books with newspaper cuttings are left forgotten on the floor and what is left of animals were left in ghostly displays on the walls.
The second installment of the pop-up film screening Nomadic Impac will be held this coming weekend on Saturday only, the first screening starts at 19:00 and the second at 20:45. Like last time two B movies will be screened, popcorn and drinks available and great friends will be made.
