Mega Bonanza on Rita Hello

Getting lost in the center of town is never a fun experience, what makes it even less fun is if it is dark and you’re on your own. After going to Mega Bonanza’s exhibition entitled “Maybe you just have bad taste” last year I knew it was, in fact, worth getting lost for.
This year, once again it didn’t disappoint. Mega Bonanza is a collective effort between Maaike Bakker, PJ Kotze, Werner Burger and Nina Torr (a.k.a. Andy Wyeth) and Bazooka is on display at Kalashnikovv Gallery in Braamfontein. For some more information go check out the Facebook event.

With so much to keep us entertained, we’ve become numb to pretence and perfection, but don’t let these illustrations fool you. Not only do they have a certain charm to them, they are effortlessly good. Really good.

You can look and look again. Then you can leave, come back and look AGAIN.

After the exhibition, we had pizza and coffee at 86 Public and it was fantastic. If you want amazing pizza with some adventurous toppings it is a must. Definitely a place worth visiting!

Hope everybody has a lovely weekend!
